NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:the Town Board of The Town of Covert will hold a Public Hearing on October 27th , 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Town of Covert Municipal Building, 8469 South Main Street, Interlaken , New York, for the adoption of a proposed Local Law of the Town of Covert for the year 2027 that would authorize the Town Board to adopt a budget for the fiscal year 2027 that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the amount otherwise specified in General Municipal Law §3-c.

"Local Law for Flood Damage Prevention as Authorized by the New York State Constitution, Article IX, Section 2, and Environmental Conservation Law, Article 36"
